Greetings

Hello, before i start posting more on my blog i'd just like to introduce myself and how i play, and how i started to, play World of Warcraft.

So, My name is James Escott, I'm 16 and i live in the south of England, near Portsmouth.. I'm currently going through my GCSEs at school which is reducing my WoW time, but is more important...

I've been a massive computer game fan from the age of about 7 where Mario Kart used to rule the Nintendo 64s, i have memories of my cousin waking me up what seemed to be 2 in the morning just to play a battle. For my future job i'd like to be a computer games programmer as it would be great to help programme the next big hit for gaming, who knows it could be a new expansion for WoW (fingers crossed)

I have been playing World of Warcraft, i think, since early January 2006, where my friends were talking about it over teamspeak, back when i used to be a major Counterstrike Source fan, it sounded interesting and i didn't find Guild Wars any fun at al... Bought it, and fell in love straight away. The general feel of adventure you used to have, the first time you would walk through the forests of Teldrassil or Elwynn Forest...

I started playing off as a Human Paladin, that took me roughly 11 months to get to 60, slow i know but it was a great time, throughout TBC i was leveling up alts for fun, i now have, at this precise moment, 71 warrior, 73 Shaman, 70 mage, 70 hunter, 80 Paladin, 80 Priest and a 74 Death Knight.

My Priest is my most loved character, i heal and DPS on her and i am currently raiding with her, hence Save meee Jeebus being the name of the blog as people associate Jeebus as a priest, and those who watch the Simpsons would know this is a quote that Homer says.

Through The Burning Crusade i got to 70 rather quickly, think it was about 2-3 months, and joined my first raiding guild, Unity of Eternity, without clearing past Attunsmen in Karazhan... Unfortunately the guild had to disband due to our guild leader stepping down, so i moved onto Silver Oak Guardians, the 'big shot' guild from Pre-TBC... I settled in nicely and raided Karazhan week in, enjoying it... Unfortunately the guild wasn't progressing far enough for me so i left to join Order of Avalon, where i managed to clear everything up to Brutallus in Sunwell Plateau... From the start of Wrath of the Lich King things had been uneasy in OOA, so i left to form a friends guild called Ghouls Go Nom Nom Nom, yes i know, and we managed to start clearing through Naxxramas 10 man after 2 weeks after release. You guessed it, as we couldnt get enough people for 25 mans the guild had to disband as members had moved on to other guilds....

So i went to where i am now, Dead Men Raiding, where i feel comfortable and accepted and just love the guild and its members, but although myself being 16, i think the average age of the guild is about 40, in between the age of my parents!!! Others in my situation would probably feel they're not 'mature' enough to be a part of a group of adults that share the same interests as you, but what i want to try and do is to help people my age that are in the same situation to just relax and help the adults respect and treat the little'uns with kindness...

So, 25 mins after i started writing that is basically the sumup of my life so far and WoW, stay tuned and if you happen to be on Aszune EU - say hi to me :)

Chow, Jim / Gaebora
